On Friday, January 26th, ZSR Library hosted our second annual CozyFest- an event centered on crafting, relaxation, and tea. We teamed up with the World Tea Association, WakerSpace, WFU Symphony Orchestra, You Can Vote, and ZSR Special Collections and Archives to provide an array of activities and experiences that are perfect for a winter evening.
We were delighted to host over 75 students at this event! Our attendees were treated to a s’mores bar, fresh popcorn, and spa water. World Tea Association kept everyone warm with their tea tastings and conversation. WakerSpace provided some awesome crafting activities, including a special ZSR tile coaster project. You Can Vote encouraged folks to register to vote and update their voter registration. Special Collections and Archives led an amazing book craft activity, inviting students to make their own miniature cook book from the WFU archives. And WFU Symphony Orchestra members Murren Kelly (on violin), Sarah Bo (on cello), and Jose Policarpio (on cello) serenaded everyone with gorgeous musical arrangements.
A special thanks to our wonderful campus partners and all of the volunteers from ZSR Library & the ZSR Library Ambassadors who helped make this event a success! Photos from the event can be viewed at the ZSR Library’s Flickr page.
