On Sunday, March 30th, ZSR Library joined the Office of Sustainability and many other WFU campus partners to celebrate the start of spring at the Spring Equinox Festival! The event was held once again at Campus Gardens (off Polo Road) and featured DJs from Wake Radio, crafts led by several campus and community organizations, plant-forward food, and furry and feathered friends- a goat named Molly and several chicks and chickens.
At the ZSR Library table, we gave away ZSR-branded planters with forget-me-not seed packets, and set up a Little Free Library with environmental and nature-themed fiction and non-fiction titles. Many students and participants stopped by to browse the offerings and pick up a planter.
We had a great time and are so appreciative of the Office of Sustainability for including us in this campus tradition once again! More photos of the event can be found on the ZSR Flickr page.
