The ZSR Student Library Advisory Committee provides a forum for students to share their perspective and advise ZSR Library on matters related to affecting the student experience. Committee members may also serve as advocates for the library on campus by helping connect ZSR with the broader student and university community. The program is designed to be a leadership opportunity that will develop the professional skills of the committee and help the library administrative team consider students’ needs and perspectives in decision-making.

Members

Responsibilities

• Attend no less than 50% of regularly scheduled meetings each academic semester
• Offer thoughtful feedback on library spaces, services, resources, and programs affecting the student experience
• Attend and/or actively participate in one student-facing outreach activity per semester that promotes the library or connects it with the university community
