About the Scholarships

ZSR is driven by the same spirit as every other academic unit at Wake Forest: an obligation to make our University accessible to as many people as possible. For that reason, ZSR is proud to announce the first scholarship program in Wake Forest history specifically benefiting the students who work in the library.

Thanks to an initiative launched by the ZSR Library Board of Visitors, ZSR Library will award $2,500 scholarships to library student workers each academic year.

Eligibility

To be eligible, a student must meet the following criteria:

• Be a full-time student
• Demonstrate strong academic performance
• Be in good standing with the University
• Be an hourly student worker for ZSR Library, undergraduate students preferred
• Intend to work at ZSR the following academic year
• Show outstanding service to the Library and campus community

For ZSR Student Employees

Awards are made for a single academic year; however those individuals awarded scholarships will be eligible to apply for scholarships in future years if they continue to meet the scholarship criteria.

For Interested Donors

Fundraising for this initiative continues and our goal is to offer ten scholarships for the next academic year. If you would like to support this initiative to assist current WFU students in continuing their education while working in ZSR, you can safely make a gift online.
