As we head into the summer holiday your Business Liaisons wanted to highlight a couple of great features and content available via ZSR’s subscription to the Financial Times/FT.com. Not taking full advantage of your full-access to FT.com? Check out the information here to get access today!
Highlight and “See Related Articles” feature:
Reading an article on FT.com and come across a topic, name, or issue you want to see further FT reporting on? Simply highlight the word(s) or phrase and from the pop-up box select “see related articles” to find related FT content.
Newsletters
Like most major publications FT.com offers a bevy of newsletters to choose from. One of our favorites is the Business School Insider, written by the FT’s Global Education Editor Andrew Jack and sent out every Monday.
Business Education and Business School Hubs
In addition to great newsletters, FT.com also offers two “hubs” which brings together all their reporting on Business Education and Business Schools.
Case Studies for Classroom Use
Searching out new and relevant case studies for classroom use remain one of the top five requests we get sent as Business Librarians, so we are always excited when we discover a new source for quality business cases! FT now offers “Instant Teaching Case Studies” that explore “responsible-business dilemmas faced by organisations”. Short articles, chocked full of links to supplemental material with discussion prompts included at the end – we are excited to watch this collection grow. FT.com is also looking for faculty interested in collaborating on new case studies – reach out and we will put you in contact!
As always, don’t hesitate to reach out to your Librarian to learn more about FT.com and other great resources you have access to via ZSR.
