Homecoming is right around the corner, and Special Collections & Archives and the Wake Forest Historical Museum look forward to welcoming Wake Foresters back to campus.
Special Collections will be hosting an open house, open to all, from 3-5 on Friday, November 6 in Room 625. And on Saturday, November 7, please stop by the Special Collections AND Wake Forest Historical Museum tables at Festival on the Quad, 9-12, to see special exhibits, pick up fun historical swag and unique printed materials, and leaf through Howlers. We look forward to seeing you there.
This year marks the 5-year anniversary of our Expanding Wake Voices: Inclusive Student Life project, which has worked to collect the stories and memories of as many Wake Foresters as possible — currently numbering nearly 70 interviews. We could not have conducted this work without the support of our generous donors, and we send our deepest thanks to those who have made it possible.
This work continues as we begin planning for the Bicentennial, so we hope you’ll consider supporting us in two ways: through a donation, and by sending us the names of Wake Foresters you think we should interview, archives@wfu.edu
