The ZSR Recognitions: Thank a Colleague! program provides an opportunity for employees to submit a note of thanks to their colleagues. These can be for going above and beyond, helping a job get done, general appreciation, or any reason thanks can be given. Here are those who were recognized over the summer. Thanks to all for being great ZSR colleagues!

David LinkDavid donated his honey expertise and delicious Hidden Meadows honey products to make our October Flavor of the Month event a real treat for all who attended – thank you David!Morgan Ritchie-Baum
Rebecca MayOne day in late October I was out sick on PTO, on a day that I had a meeting with an alumna (who came from out of town) to talk about our Digital Collections. Rebecca volunteered to take her on a tour of Special Collections that morning. Thanks Rebecca!Melde Rutledge
Kathy MartlockKathy M. paused her regular incredible cataloging work to create a new collection in Alma for the Military Science Library materials. Knowing we were under a time crunch, she made an extraordinary effort to make this happen in a very short time frame. This was an vital piece of the process, as it ensured that we will continue to have a named collection in honor of Dr. Helm and preserve his legacy at WFU. Thank you, Kathy!Kathy Shields
Kyle DenlingerWhen Deacon OneCard came up with some very wordy and wholly inadequate signs to warn students from engaging the locks in the classrooms that would inadvertently call University Police, Kyle spent a few minutes to design eye-catching and easily understandable signs instead. We, (and University Police) may never know how many unnecessary calls his ingenious design may have stopped. Thanks for the creative response, Kyle!Mary Beth Lock
