The Z. Smith Reynolds Library established the Open Access Fund in 2008 to assist Reynolda campus faculty who seek publication in an open access venue that charges article processing fees. Under a cost-sharing arrangement, the Office of Research and Sponsored Programs and the Library will each pay one third of the fee. The final third will be sought from the author’s home department, or through existing campus-wide publishing support opportunities.
Priority will be given to faculty who do not have grant funding to pay for these expenses. Please see the fund criteria for full details.
