Join us in celebrating the upcoming centenary of author, artist, and designer Edward St. John Gorey. Born in Chicago in 1925, Gorey had a multifaceted career that spanned 50 years. He gained a cult following with his unique aesthetic, which was simultaneously whimsical and morbid, sinister and surreal.

ZSR Special Collections and Archives’ Halloween event will feature a pop-up exhibit of Gorey books from our collection and a Gorey trivia quiz, as well as spooky snacks and giveaways. All are welcome!
