Special Collections & Archives celebrated Edward Gorey on Wednesday, October 30th with a party and small exhibit. Guests got the opportunity to see some of Gorey’s haunting illustrations and children’s books, and even hang out with his skeleton! There were delicious snacks, good company, great costumes, and a spooky good time!
You can view all the images from the event in the Flickr album.

How fun! Thanks for taking the annual SCA Halloween observance “down” to new lows! Spooky and informative!
I hope Skelly returns next year in a new iteration!!!
Edward Gorey’s style was so unique and impressive. His story is so inspiring for more deviant artist!
