Recently, new artwork was installed in the Special Collections & Archives Research Room (625 ZSR Library) by Jessica Burlingame (Collections Manager, University Art Collections) and Erin Kye (Art Preparator, University Art Collections).

The artist is Anna Pugh and here is a brief bio: Anna Pugh is a visual artist working in the expanded field of painting. Exploring greater questions of unreliable memory, sense of place, and encounters with ordinary phenomena, Pugh works with the shadows of collected objects and ephemera to build compositions in dialogue with their silhouettes. Pugh is a part of the 2026 Boston University MFA Painting cohort. She received her BA in Studio Art from Wake Forest University in 2018, with minors in Art History and Biology.
