I was so relieved when my flight from Greensboro touched down in Washington at about 11:30am this morning. I went through the worst turbulence ever on this flight and when it was over, I had to do it all over again from Washington to Boston but fortunately, this one went smoothly.
After collecting my luggage at the Boston airport, I took a shuttle to the nearest train station where I caught a train to my hotel. After spending a couple of minutes trying to get my elevator moving, I was told that I needed to use my room key card to activate the elevator before pressing the button to my floor. This was something new that I just learned and the receptionist was kind to say that it happens all the time.
After dropping my luggage and made sure I got online ok with my laptop, I went to have an overdue lunch at about 3pm at a Mexican Grill called “Q Doba”. The burrito was great! I then decided to go for a walk to discover the city. The afternoon was beautiful and the outside temperature, just comfortable for a wonderful promenade. In about five minutes, I made it to the Boston Public Garden where I took some beautiful shots. Unfortunately, I am not going to be able to share these shots until I get back home because I forgot the USB cable that is needed to download the pictures.
I am now going to hit the gym and get ready for tomorrow. I think I just saw Andrew Nagy and other folks that are going to present tomorrow in the hotel lobby. I will write a real post tomorrow as it is going to be an excited day.
