Once more, I’m excited to share the long list of collections that are newly processed or whose collection overviews and inventories have been updated in the past few months. Special Collections student workers spend most of their time on this, and I often do as well. Sometimes the process of creating these finding aids is the matter of an hour, if there is one folder and it’s a campus department, or months on end, as it was with our University Archives Photograph Collection, which spans nearly 70 linear feet and a whole host of physical preservation issues and intellectual challenges regarding image classification.
