This collection documents some of Crutchfield's personal life and professional work and also contains items related to wife Margaret Grehan Crutchfield, a nurse.

Andy Heck ('70, P '98) was born in North Bergen, New Jersey. He attended junior college in Nebraska before being recruited by the Demon Deacons' then-football coach Bill Tate in 1965. In 1966, Heck won the team’s Most Valuable Player award. Though he left Wake after two years to play professional football for the Hamilton Tiger-Cats in the Canadian Football League, he only played one season; Heck was drafted into the U.S. Marine Corps in 1967. As a soldier in the Golf Company, 2nd Battalion, 7th Marines, Heck was wounded in Vietnam during the Tet Offensive and recuperated on Guam. He returned to Vietnam, was wounded in action again, discharged, and returned to Wake Forest to finish his college career in 1968, though he did not resume his football career. The scroll was created while Heck was on Guam, though he did not receive it until he returned to New Jersey after his discharge.

The book also contains a directory of attending and graduating students, 1834-1892, including information about their occupations and employers, home counties, and sometimes death dates. The book's printed pages are interleaved with blank pages, which Taylor and possibly other presidents and administrators used to note students who earned degrees up to at least 1918.

Archibald Cree was a Baptist minister from Scotland, who moved to North Carolina and served Baptist churches at Roxabel, Rich Square, Jackson, Littleton, Macon, and Vaughan, North Carolina. His papers consists of biographical and genealogical information; sermons and sermon notes; speeches and addresses; his 1878 diary of a trip to Switzerland, and broadside "Baptist Hymn." The collection also contains his wooden box with his shoemaking instruments.

He was graduated from Wake Forest College (1898) and Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. He was a Baptist minister in Gaffney, South Carolina; Walnut Street, Louisville, Kentucky; Edgefield, Nashville, Tennessee; Moultrie, Georgia, and First Baptist Church, Salisbury, North Carolina. He also served as the Executive Secretary of the Georgia Baptist Association. His papers consists largely of biographical and genealogical information, and his sermons and sermon notes.

This collection consists of biographical information, Gallimore's writings, autographs of Kentucky Baptist leaders, Wake Forest College and expansion clippings, a Wake Forest College scrapbook album, and postcard-sized photographs of the campus and its students.

This collection documents the fundraising efforts of the Wake Forest University Department of Athletics, as well as its supporting organizations, to sustain the institution's various athletic programs by providing assistance with facility improvements and to address the needs of the university's student-athletes.

The Director of Women's Athletics was an administrative position that supported the intramural and intercollegiate athletic activities of female students at Wake Forest University from 1950 to 1999. The records in this collection document the work of former Women's Athletics Directors Dorothy (Dot) Casey, Marjorie (Marge) Crisp, and Dianne Dailey. The Women's Athletics Director worked closely with the University Athletics Director and other athletics faculty and staff to create schedules, operating procedures, and establish budgets for women's athletic teams. They were also members of organizations such as the Association for Intercollegiate Athletics for Women (AIAW), the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC), and the National Collegiate Athletics Association (NCAA) and worked to organize and administer intercollegiate competitions as well as advocate for the needs of female student athletes. This collection includes department files, annual reports, committee reports, budgets, correspondence, scheduling materials, and personnel files.
