Lady Dorothy Nevill (1826-1913) was a political and artistic hostess, a horticulturalist, a memorist, and a prolific correspondent. This collection contains 54 letters, mostly brief, that formed correspondence of Lady Dorothy Nevill. Repeat correspondents include Arthur Charles Wellesley, fourth Duke of Wellington; Henrietta Blanche, Countess of Airlie; Mary du Claux, also known as Agnes Mary Frances Duclaux née Robinson; Georgina, Dowager Countess of Dudley (G. H. Dudley); and Robert Lowe, Viscount Sherbooke. Suffragette leader Millicent Fawcett also wrote to Nevill.

In 1946, lead architect Jens Fredrick Larson, joined by his son Nils, was hired to develop architectural plans for the new Wake Forest College (WFC) campus under the patronage of the Z. Smith Reynolds Foundation. This collection documents a small amount of the work that Jens F. Larson and his son Nils did on the Wake Forest University campus and in the Winston Salem area, as well as a WFU memoradum and biographical information.

Also present are a number of undated envelopes and two Confederate 2-dollar bills.

In November, 1824, Joshua Lee, Peter Owen, Phillip Copple, and approximately 20 others met near a spring one mile east of the present Liberty Baptist Church and organized as an arm of Tom's Creek Baptist Church. On August 22, 1829, this arm was constituted into a Baptist Church by a presbytery consisting of Elders Eli Phillips, Jesse Sowell, Ashley Swaim, and the deacons of Tom's Creek Baptist Church. Liberty was constituted with a membership of 25. This collection contains minutes of church conferences, articles of faith, the constitution of the church as an arm of Toms Creek, their constitution as a church, a list of charter members and histories of the church by G.W. Miller and H.T. Penry.
